Defenders of Dignity

Defenders is a national leather/levi organization affiliated with Dignity/USA. Its membership consists of gay men and lesbian interested in integrating their leather sexuality with their spirituality. There are chapters throughout the United States.

• Defenders/San Francisco was founded in 1994.

• Meetings take place monthly. We meet in one of our homes, enjoy a potluck meal.  The meetings consist of social, business and educational portions.  They begin at 7:30 PM. 

• Other activities consist of outreach to the leather/levi community with retreats and a visible presence in other events that include spirituality.
